We invite boys to be a part of any of our programs! We offer some classes that are specifically for boys only and the we also offer co-ed classes. Childrens classes under age 5 years are all co-ed. And most dance classes are co-ed as well.

Because Boys Deserve The Benefits Of Dance As Much As Girls!
It has been proven over the many decades that dance has many long term benefits for boys. Besides improved flexibilty, strength and coordination, dance offers better balance and body control/awareness has great implications for sports and life in general. Muscle motor memory, eye hand and eye foot coordination is also greatly improved with dance.
Tap dance offers a student quickness. Not only quickness of leg and foot, but quick in thought and sight. A Tap dancer learns to think about many different rhythms, sound and motions at one time. They "see ahead" in the dance so that they can keep up with the music and steps of a dance. Focus is greatly improved because if a tap dancer is not focused, everything passes by in a blink of an ey.
Ballet dance offers strength, flexibility, strong focus and controlled movements. Not always a favorite of young dancers because of its precise movements when first learning, ballet is the foundation of all dance methods and offers alot of benefits from high jumps (check out out testimonial page and read a testimonial from a former college athlete and now doctor of chiropractics) to safer landings. Ballet teaches a young student how to protect their growing joints when moving quickly or leaping and landing in the air.
Jazz dance is a fun method that most enjoy. The many different tempos of music used for jazz dancing helps to build an explosive body that is able to slow down and then speed up the movements (or vice versa). Most enjoy jazz because of its fun styles and movements and it is also great exercise.
Hip Hop dance is fun and funky. Body isolations and being able to move portions of the body while keeping other parts of the body still offers a better knowledge of the muscular and skeletal systems. Movements, such as in jazz, can go from very sharp and quick to slow and focused.
Many professional athletes over the years have had great success by adding dance as an element in their training. Dance offers a great cross training and the benefits of self disciplin and focus is something every young man can use throughout their lifetime.
