Academy of Fine Arts

The majority of our students enjoy our classes for fun, recreation, fitness and for the physical literacy that comes from being in a "training environment". These students are the backbone and foundation of our classes and we admire them and coach them to their highest level possible. They receive high level instruction and attention at all times and in every class. 

Some students are a bit more serious about their performing and so we offer company classes for those students and families that want to take their performing experience to the next level. They are students that know to achieve their dreams they need to train more and perform more. This is what Company is all about.

Company students take more classes (the required ones they need to be part of the company), are in class more, perform more and compete during the season. Company members also can receive an invitation to participate in a national performance event or educational/training trip.

We offer Star Company for those who study Tap, Jazz and Ballet. Bravo Company for those who study Hip Hop, Jazz and Tumbling. Showteam and M.A.T.S. Team for those who study acro-gymnastics and tumbling. Private Band/Orchestra for our instrumental music students.

Placement in the different companies can come from a teacher referral or a workshop/audition. No worries that your child might not make the company because we have different levels for different abilities. The major thing that we look for is a great personal attitude and a big heart in learning! The only major guideline we have is that they cannot be a first year student and if they have not taken classes with us just recently, we reserve the right to put the dancer on probation until they have proven themselves.
