All studios hold recitals or end of season shows. But at TDCP, Parents receive a much bigger value for their recital package! Our recitals are designed to offer a less stressful situation for our parents and more enjoyment for our students! Be sure to inquire as to what makes our recitals different from the rest!

" I just wanted you to know that the show was great and I'm so glad Chloe got to be a part of it! She was so nervous because she's really just not one of those 'natural' performers, but she did good and the dance was just beautiful. Overall, there was so much hard work and talent that we were truly impressed! You can put on a good show and we enjoyed it. I think it must've inspired Chloe a little because she was really dancing around the house last night! Thank you!"

Recitals are a fun and festive time! This is when the students actually have the opportunity to show and share what they have learned during the year. At TDCP staff and faculty promise to keep the stress out and the fun in!
The recital is always held the first weekend of May on Saturday (and possible Sunday). The location is the historic Woodward Arts Theatre in the main street district. Three different recitals are held that weekend to accomadate the large crowds of performers and families. The recitals are based on age and ability levels, thus allowing the talented staff and volunteers to focus on each group and allows each group of performers to truly shine.
Recitals always have a fun and exciting theme that the students work with during the season that lead to the "grand show". Most students receive balloon bouquets, flowers and gifts from their family members (which is very appropriate for performers) that add to the special feelings of accomplishments at the end of the show.
Families and friends are welcome to attend the recitals. There is no admission charge.
