NEW DANCE TEAM CLASS OFFERING FOR Pre-K through 1st grade (Mini Star Team) 2nd through 5th grade (Star Team I) 6thh through 10th grade (Star Team II)
COMMUNITY DANCE TEAM CLASS Your school or community gathers the team either by sign up or audition (we suggest that good grades be a factor as well), selects a parent to be the contact person/organizer (or a teacher if you wish) and offers performance times at your community events such as talent shows, fairs, sporting events and much more. ********** The parents make sure that their child is at class at our location and any extra practices your contact person wishes to organize at your site. They also register with TDC Productions and pay the tuition monthly to TDC Productions by ACH or other agreed upon method. (Sorry we do not accept checks) ********** We offer great teachers that can wow your audiences with terrific and cutting edge (but age appropriate) choreography as well as the administrative work of collecting the monthly fees for the training, and all in a professional setting. ********** The first benefit to your school and community is the discipline, commitment, camaraderie, cooperation and the responsibility that the students learns by being on a dance team. The second benefit is the extra attendance of family and friends at your sporting events or other events that you hold. Extra attendance means extra revenue for your school and programs. The third benefit is the pride of being able to offer arts based training to the young ladies and gentlemen in your school. ********** Some communities may be able to subsidize this training through Community Ed Programs, since the cost of participating in this class situation may be cheaper than bringing a dance professional to your area for even a short time. ********** Performance and class attire will be very simple. Students will need a pair of black cotton shorts for class and then purchase the class t-shirt for class from us for $15. We will offer you some options for dance sneakers to select from that will be safe to dance on your court floors and yet give stability needed for the dancer’s foot. We can either order these for you or you can do it on your own as a group. Then you will need to design a T-Shirt for your dance team to wear at your local performances (you can also have these made up on your own as well). ********** Discounted tuition and registration fees will be available as long as the group maintains the stated level of number of dancers. If group participation drops below the stated level, the tuition will increase (see schedule). Discounts are also available if you book the class on a Tuesday, Wednesday ,Thursday or Friday between the hours of 12:00noon and 2:00 pm. Since the tuition is already discounted from our group class prices, there are no scholarships available through TDCP. ********** Payment for the class is done by bank draft only from each individual’s bank account or by balance in full for the year by debit card or cash. This is the payment agreement we use for our entire school. Failure to receive the payment will result in the student being removed from the class and any discounts may be jeopardized. ********** A $35 registration fee is due yearly and we will give a $5 discount per student, if there are more than 10 dancers on your team, back to your school or community organization.This could then be used for purchasing you performance shirts. ********** ALL Music and choreography is age appropriate and suited for family viewing. Contact person will receive a copy of the music for practice and performance. ********** Team may select between the methods of Pom /Spirit Dance, Jazz or Hip Hop for the season. Contact person may videotape the choreography to make for an easier practice at the home court site. All choreography is original for your team and we will give your schoolthe choreography rights for performance. WE PROMISE! ********** Class is a 50 minute class and it is the parents and dancers responsibility to be dressed and stretched in time to start the class. Dancers will need to wear their designated class wear to the class and may not leave the class early. ********** Class day and time bookings are limited due to our other classes that are currently going on for the school season. So it would be wise to inquire and book early. The teams will learn two to four routines during the year depending on ability, age and level of dancers. ********** Parents register on line after the community/school contact person or organizer and the facility administration have set up the class. Parents agree to abide by ALL policies of the facility including withdrawal from the team and classes. Parents are responsible for all fees for their child on the team. ********** Tuition Fee Schedule For Community Dance Teams: 55 minute class once a week 6-10 dancers$55.00 per month per student* 11-15 dancers$50.00 per dancer per month** 16-20 dancers$45.00 per dancer per month** *Registration fee of $35 per student **Registration fee of $30 per student Fees for class and performance attire are separate from the monthly tuition and must be paid in full before any part of are ordered.
